Product Description
The Model 76 Card Cage System is a series of fully integrated enclosures which accept various Telebyte modules. The basic features of all the card cages are: Fully connectorized backplanes (which allow modules to be inserted or withdrawn without disturbing rear cabling) and master power with the option of dual redundant power supplies for increased reliability. The basic Model 76 card cage system has
11 module slots and a power supply. When a redundant power supply option is ordered the available module slot capability is reduced to 11. The CARD CAGE SYSTEM includes several different elements. The Power Supply is a modular plug-in assembly that develops semi-regulated DC voltages which are distributed via a printed circuit backplane to all of the 14 module slots. The power supply operates from 110
VAC, 60 Hz or 220 VAC, 50 Hz depending on the setting of an internal selector switch. The power supply contains a LAMP TEST switch that allows testing all the LED indicators on all modules installed in the system. A smoked lexan door covers the modules.
Model Description
A 5.25" high package that has two RS-232 connectors and two 4-position
insulation displacement connectors per module position (14 positions).
The Model 76-3 accommodates the Model 122.
